WAYS TO GIVE

If you are a believer and have made Burnaby Church of God your home church, you may give your tithes and offerings/donations in the following ways below. Simple and secure. Give a single or schedule a recurring offering using your chequeing account, debit or credit card.

  • Find Giving envelopes by the entrance, and fill in your contact information and/or any prayer requests.
  • We accept cash or cheque made out to Burnaby Church of God.
  • Drop your envelope into the Giving basket during our call for Tithes and Offerings during Saturday Services.

Via Mail or Mailbox

  • We accept cheques made out to Burnaby Church of God.
  • Send cheques by regular Lettermail, or drop it off in our mail slot at:

By Interac E-Transfer

Interac E-Transfer allows you to easily and securely send funds directly through your banking app.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check to see if your financial institution is participating in Interac E-Transfer.

2. Access your financial institution’s website or mobile app, and login to online banking.
You may need to create an online banking account if you have not logged into online banking before. Please contact your financial institution if you require assistance with this step.
3. Navigate to Interac E-Transfer.
This may be different depending on the bank. It may appear under “Send Money” or a similar menu.
4. Add Burnaby Church of God as a contact and save.

Simple and secure. Give a single or schedule a recurring offering using your chequeing account, debit or credit card. We use Zeffy.com, a free fundraising platform for non-profits. Simply enter the amount you’d like to give, along with your information and credit card details. You can choose to give either as a one-time donation or on a monthly basis. Please select which fund you’d like your offering to go toward: Tithes & Offerings/General Fund, Building Fund, or Missions & Outreach.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For Giving through Interac E-Transfer:
Is there a fee to send an E-Transfer?
No. This is supported completely through Interac, and 100% of your funds goes towards supporting Burnaby Church of God ministries.
Will Burnaby Church of God be able to access any of my banking information?
No. All we can see is your name and amount.
How will I know you received my money?

You should receive an email receipt from Interac shortly after the transaction indicating the amount was received and deposited by our Finance team.

How do I cancel an E-Transfer?
Once the E-transfer was accepted and deposited, you would not be able to cancel it. Please contact our finance team to discuss your transfer.
For Giving through Online Platform:
Is there a fee or service charge to give using the platform?

There is no fee or service charge for online donation/offering through this platform. In the donation summary, you’ll be asked to contribute to the platform itself. If you’d prefer not to, simply select “Other” and enter “Zero” for the amount.
